I've written for Canadian and American media since about 2004. I grew up in Montenegro in the former Yugoslavia, moved to Belgrade in 1992 for a BA in Journalism & Political Science, then to Nova Scotia in 1999 to complete an MA (Political Theory) at Dalhousie University. I've been living in Toronto since 2005. Yes, I’ve moved around a lot. I worked in publishing, taught Intro to Canadian electoral system & politics at a settlement agency and Humanities to a class of future tradespeople, did admin at a municipal arts funding body, a bookseller association and a co-op property management office. I had a stint as the PR person for the media in South Slav languages with an opera company that commissions new Canadian works. Toughest job yet: being a novice dishwasher in a busy restaurant kitchen.

Here below I'll occasionally post photos from Montenegro, where I don't go often enough. The current one is from a town in the Bay of Boka called Perast.
